HANDICAP SYSTEM FOR 2023

The new Handicap system will be calculated in the following way:

For Coming 1st, 2nd, or 3rd

All society handicaps are grouped as follows:

    Handicaps can be adjusted on general play.

Now there will be no reduction for scoring 30pts or more if unplaced, unless however in the event of a tie for third place in and a card play off occurs. Where all players involved will be deducted according to their group regardless of final position.

If a player should score less than 30 points his handicap will now go up by 1 stroke, therefore enabling quicker recovery.

** Members with club handicaps must play with the society handicap not their respective club handicap. **
