Dear Members

Wow that was a hot one, luckily, we all had buggies and copious amounts of fluid for our trip to Pryors Hayse Golf Club. After a quick Bacon Baguette and coffee, we ventured out on to the very dry and hot course, which although well presented, the patchy greens led to interesting putting with many a good shot ruined in the last few inches. Dave Wilkinson romped home in first place with 39 points (it must have been the relief of not having to make the captains speech on this occasion) Barry Moran came second and Joe Cronshaw third, joe also taking the two’s tote as well. Barry won nearest the pin and Andy Ashe longest drive. No Guests again, all finished off with a delicious meal of Cumberland Sausage, creamy mash, peas and gravy, completed with Eaton Mess.   So on to our next event at…
