Dear Members.....

Our final event went as well as can be expected, after a hearty breakfast, and a small administrative problem the intrepid twenty-two players ventured out for the last time in 2026. Our biggest turnout of the year as usual, Ringway proved a challenging day for most.

But not for Alex Rydstrom who steamed ahead to win with a massive 41 points, regular podium visitor Norman Crowther took second and Bernard Scott third. John Rundle took best guest after a card playoff with Darren Hill. Will Pritchard won the longest drive and Dan Barber claimed nearest the pin and bagged a share of the Two’s Tote along with Alex Rydstrom and Cleve McCurdy. The year-long Wegewood competition was won by Barry Moran and well deserved too. So we now move towards the end of the season and onwards to 2027, more of which will be discussed at the AGM
